For my senior thesis I created WorkWise, a digital platform designed to make workplace onboarding accessible for immigrants, first-time professionals, and others who struggle with onboarding. In this project, I created a website that combines step-by-step guides, cultural context, customizable practice simulations, and quizzes to build user confidence without

Adult learning platforms are text-heavy and difficult to navigate. For immigrants and first-time professionals, this is compounded by language barriers, unfamiliar cultural norms, and anxiety about using systems not designed with them in mind.

WorkWise bridges the gap between child-friendly learning (engaging but too simple) and corporate training (thorough but overwhelming). It provides visual step-by-step guides with illustrations and screenshots, interactive practice simulations, downloadable reference materials workers can revisit anytime, cultural context explaining workplace norms and the “why” behind tasks, multilingual support, and an AI chatbot assistant for instant help.
